Sharon and Bob Hornung are Bead Crazy. The idea began in 2003. Sharon was in a transition phase in her career. Both Sharon and Bob, with many years experience in the arts and crafts, were looking for something new. Sharon already had experience beading and it didn’t take long to convince Bob to go Bead Crazy. Soon the great partnership that is their marriage became a great business partnership. They were buying beads and planning for their opening 2005. In April 2005 these two crazy people were able to share their crazy world of beads with the public when the first Bead Crazy store opened. We are a family business and you occasionally will find our sons and daughters–in-laws or our daughter and her boyfriend helping out on weekends.
